two friends and the well
Two friends were walking along in a field, and came along
an old well. They looked down inside and couldn't see
the bottom so they decided to throw something down it. The
two friends look a little bit and they each find a small rock
and toss them down the well. They listened for a while and
never heard anything, so they decided to find something
bigger. The two looked around some more and came across
a giant rock, so they picked it up carried it over to the well,
and heaved it inside. Once again they heard nothing, so
they go off and start looking again. Once they had looked
a little while, they came across an old transmission, so
they picked it up and threw it down the well. They listend
and listened and still there was no noise. When they get
up from the well and start walking, they notice a goat coming
at them. They both jump out of the way as the goat comes charging
at them, and the goat falls down the well. Once again they
went to the well and heard nothing. They finally decide
to give up and forget about the well. they start walking
and come across a farmer. The farmer says, "Excuse
me, have you two seen a goat 'round here?" one
of the men replys, "yeah it just came charging at us
and fell down that well over there!" The old farmer
then says, "Thats impossible, i had that goad chained
to an old transmission."
