Love without commitment - just an unattainable male fantasy?
I look for powerful relationships with the girls I get involved
with - not just pure exchanges of sex (though that too of
course) but exchanges of emotion and ideas too.
But I don't want this to mean commitment - to lead to
taking each other for granted and expecting things of each
other.
Why does it so often collapse into need - two egos wrapping
themselves up in each other - losing their independence.
As a woman becomes more needy of me, losing her independance
and looking to me to support her - or rather, relying on my
support (because I really enjoy supporting, just not Having
to support) I find her less and less attractive.
Are there no women out there who can maintain a certain distance
whilst being extremely close and passionate every now
and then?

- whatever.
Is this just a purely male fantasy, or are there women out
there who I could possibly share such a love with?
