Someday My Wife
From the first day I saw you
when you entered my life
I would of never of guessed
you might someday be my wife
We were both married at the time
our friendship grew strong
we started to have feelings
that we knew were just wrong
each day we got closer
our love was starting to show
we knew things were changing
but where was this to go
There were others involved
decisions to make
we had to tell our loved ones
that their hearts would brake
we are together now
through good times and bad
why do people
make us seem bad
the choices I have made
were not easy for me
people say you can change
but how can that be
you fall in love for reasons
noone can say why
for me it was a woman
others wish it was a guy
love comes in different forms
in many shapes and ways
people like to discriminate
and say we are gay
I wake up in the morning
and go to sleep at night
I say my prayers
asking God to make it right
Society can be cruel
so I live a double life
hoping that someday
I can make you my wife
