The Inner Beast
The darkness moves as I will it. Let all who hamper my path
tremble in fear as I tread upon everything they once held
dear. Barriers will fall, and armies will falter in my mere
presence. The wise have foreseen my coming, and shuddered
as they prepared my place in this world. There is evil in
the heart of mankind, and it is that which will draw people
towards me. But they are the weak, and shall be crushed beneath
my indomniable will. Shy from the shields of lies, for you
shall be bared to me, regardless of your fortitude. The
forces before me have had their time, but the time for destruction
draws near. Before mankind can take another step forward,
it must be destroyed. The world is too reliant on things
they do not truly own. Only the theft of these things can
make them realize the folly of their ways. Man will rise
again to glory, but not based upon such material possessions.
For truly, a person can only possess themselves; all else
can be taken in less than moment's notice. A time of
change and chaos is nearly upon us, but how have you prepared?
We hide behind our false ideals, and even falser offices.
When it comes to the end, these will be shed, and we will be
left naked to fate. Guard your hearts, for that will be all
we are left with; that and the shattered remnants of things
we once thought important. I do not seek to rule the world,
for no one can truly rule another person; I merely seek to
change it. I am not alone in this endeavor, but our forces
are not nearly large enough to accomplish this enormous
feat. But the world is slowly changing, and this task wil
eventually be finished. Do not seek to stop the change,
because for as much suffering as we will endure, the world
will be a much better place for it. Embrace your beast within,
and set the stage for the world to come.
