Chicken Farmer

A city slicker decides he wants to farm chickens so buys
some farm land and moves out to the country.

He goes into town to the chicken dealer and tells the owner
he is just starting a chicken ranch and needs 100 baby chicks...
The owner smiles and boxes up the baby chicks and wishes
him well and the new farmer is off on his way.

The following week the farmer comes back and tells the owner
he needs 200 more baby chicks. Again the owner smiles and
boxes up the baby chicks and the farmer is on his way.

The third week the farmer is back again and this time requests
300 baby chicks.

The owner looks at him and says "You must be doing quite
well." The farmer back at him and says,

"No, I don't know if I'm planting them too
deep or too far apart"
