To Cheat or Not
I am curious what others might do in my case. I recently found
out that my wife of eight years has been having an affair
for the last four years. (OK, I am not the fastest race car
on the track.) I found out six months ago and confronted
her. She said that she was sorry and that she felt really
bad, it would never happen again. She said it was the excitement,
doing something that was taboo. Well, the affair finally
stopped two months ago, after he moved out of state. Until
recently, I had always felt we had a good relationship.
Now it is a bit strained. My question is, "Should I do unto
her as she has done unto me or do unto her as I always have?"
I have never cheated on her. Also, I am not mentaly or physiclly
abusive. I always treat her with respect, even now. Cheating
has always been a fast, fleeting thought never to be taken
seriously. I thought that someone on this site might have
the insite to help guide me.
