The saying 'What's good for the goose is good for
the gander' comes to mind here. Do you really think
your relationship has a chance of surviving anyway? And
why did you tell her about your affair in the first place?
Just to ease your own guilty feelings? While cheating when
you are not in an open relationship is not nice...it also
perhaps is not nice to burden the other person with knowledge
of your infedelity just to make you feel better. It seems
both the goose and the gander have made their nests and you
have to take what you've got coming.
